Jennifer Kolz

Jennifer is a federal public servant working for the Canada Border Services Agency and an educator with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Currently on a hiatus from doctoral studies in education and theology at the University of Toronto, Jennifer recently participated as one of 80 early career public servants in Canada Beyond 150, a Canada-wide professional development program championed by the Privy Council Office and Policy Horizons Canada.

Canada Beyond 150 was designed to support leadership and skills development and drive a culture shift across the public service via the exploration of five policy challenges for the future of Canada including: socioeconomic inclusion, reconciliation, feminist government, sustainable development and open & transparent government. As a member of the Reconciliation Team, Jennifer explored policy interventions with Indigenous and non-Indigenous partners from coast to coast to coast. The team’s policy interventions were recently presented to senior management, deputy ministers and the Clerk of the Privy Council in Ottawa.
